Bidrage med feedbackBeautiful seafood restaurant loved by my family but little to no options for me as a vegan. I only saw one option on the menu which was the Portobello Burger. I did enjoy the Portobello mushroom burger but at a fancy restaurant I didn't really want to be eating a burger type meal with a side of fries. I subbed the fries for a side of veggies and removed some of the bread and truly enjoyed my meal. I learned later that the chef would make a meal to accommodate a vegan diet however this was not stated anywhere on their website or menu.
For appetizers we had the calamari and the mustels. They were both excellent. my spouse had the pork shank that was very good. I'm not a jerk, but I tried and liked it. I had the branzino (medium bass). I've never had that before and it was delicious. we share the tasty chocolate cake for dessert. it was also excellent.
The waiter was super patient and accommodating and very nice. The restaurant was gorgeous. It took a little while to get our food but it wasn’t a huge deal as we were there to spend time together anyway.
Disappointed in menu. Ate on deck a few times this past summer and loved it! Last night seemed like fewer vegan/vegetarian options. Focus on heavier, more expensive fare. I assume that’s a calculated, economic decision, but I won’t go again in winter.
The mussels were delicious as an appetizer. We shared the seared scallops with vegetables and fingerling potatoes. It was outstanding as well , however there were only 3 slivers of potatoes. The presentation was lovely and the scallops were done to perfection. Could you add a few more potatoes to the dish?
