Restaurant Les 4 fontaines - Narbonne

We had the daily special fish with garlic, and, young, it has garlic! I loved it. the roasted garlic was a perfect complement to the whole fish. that's not your chic bistro. that is definitiv for locals. the natives enjoyed eating and drinking outside where they could smoke. we moved in without the smoke. but the atmosphere was cozy and friendly.

After the advice they see where the local food and follow them ' we were confident when we had a table in this already well-supported bistro to midday. after the fast attentive service we have ordered ourselves from the plat de jour and were not disappointed. good eating and pleasant ambiente.

This small place, just a little of the beaten track near the canal, opposite the bank to the tourist office. it was a great sound. we sat on the fountain outside on a beautiful day, I and my...woman chose both the plate du jour, which was a cable in lemon sauce with rice and fresh veg. it proved to be great value for money and a very generous part of kabeljau and also tasted great, would definitely return.

There's nothing really wrong with this restaurant but it's not special either. The square where it is located is pretty and French but there are better places to eat. Good for a beer though.

Tired, starved, disoriented, and a little depressed to have been blocked in narbonne because of a strike of the French railways, we found this restaurant for our first meal. After looking at the menu on the outside and observed that we were late for lunch, we thought it was better to go inside and hope the best. this brewery is obviously a must-see from the corner, since the outside tables were filled with joyful families and friends of Narbonnais. we were also well treated and our French seemed to have been quite successful. We both opted for the fresh fish of the day, and I for the local beer at the pressure. the fish was absolutely delicious and dotted with a cooked and crushed garlic ribbon very fresh. No effort there! There was an excellent grilled stuffed tomato, a timbale of rice and fresh green vegetables. Beer was perfect. We were too far off for dessert. I'd be happy to go back to the friendly atmosphere of the old pub, the excellent cuisine and the polite and efficient service. After a first part of a stressful day, this late lunch gave us a positive tone that supported us for the rest of our 2 days in narbonne.
