Recommended by a friend who has grown up in front of site. visited and not disappointed! fantastic busy atmosphere very short waiting, sitting and really friendly and efficient service. watching the orders about megaphone and wrapped meat that was thrown over by the metzger was very good...for eating did not disappoint that I enjoyed the cheval steak blue and my partner had the beeftare. both were served delicious with a beautiful fresh fries and a simple dressed salad. with a glass of wine and espresso came to a very reasonable €40.

We felt we were unwilling. we have no help with the menu, eating was thrown over our heads, we were put in a corner and eating was boring.

This is an experience! I ate here. very popular lively place, we had a 10 minute wait before we sat at the bar. simple menu, good food. her meat order is thrown from all the way into the metzgerei to the chef....Staff are very experienced in capturing great steak, fun to do. a little manic.

We had lunch in the market hall at the main stand, eating was good, the beer is good, but best was the theater to transfer the steaks etc. from the metzgern to the cooking area. a must see!

I won 't explain the gimmick here as countless other reviewers have already done that! We turned up at the start of lunch service on a Friday and got space for two people, but I think we were lucky within 10 minutes there was a...huge queue. I recommend you book. We were delighted to discover that not only was the meat throwing entertaining, but the food and service were also excellent. This is a fairly straightforward 'meat and frites ' place but they do it really well. I had the beef brochette (kebab) and though it was delicious, and excellent value. The bruschetta on the side was great too. Be aware, no credit cards accepted cash or cheque only.
