Terrible is an understatement.. I never write negative reviews on a small business. But I am unable to rate what my food was like... as it never arrived... after a prolonged wait I checked with staff who advised me that my food was given to the table that ordered after me...

Absolutely great place for lunch by the Bay, best fish chips in QLD... but bad luck if you want to eat after 3.00pm and sit by the water in the evening with a friend/s a pity really, early dinner is the best time to socialise, and they should try late closing on Friday and/or Saturday?

Would not normally write a negative review however I’m prompted by the the disgusting grease taste in my mouth 4 hours after haven eaten Fish and chips from this venue. The fish we purchased for takeaway was Snapper and some prawn cutlets with chips.. The fish was totally tasteless, extremely tough, covered in dry tasteless bread crumbs and cooked in I don’t know what. It wasn’t salted. The prawn cutlets worse. The chips were ok. The price is cheap and the sizes very generous however only the chips were edible which makes them the dearest chips along with the worst Fish I’ve ever had in Australia over the last 50 years.

My friend and I had a pleasant afternoon over lunch here today. The staff were friendly, orders were taken quickly and a delicious lunch arrived in no time at all. My Summer Delight was delicious. A lovely place to visit on a hot afternoon.

Lovely water outlook at high tide. Our toasted sandwiches and milkshake tasted fine. HOWEVER it took 10 minutes and a nudge to the staff member choosing to wipe tables to receive menus another 15 minutes and calling over staff to get our simple order taken. THEN 45 minutes for the toasted sandwiches to arrive at our table. Only 14 tables and I counted at least 7 staff. Luckily the view was pleasant.
