Bidrage med feedbackOur group stopped here as part of a tour and really enjoyed the margarita pizza, it was a great thin crust oven fired pizza. The staff were not very friendly or welcoming and barely acknowledged you as a guest. Sadly this is consistent to our experience in Italy all this week as the Italians appear a solemn, pissy race who rarely smile. It may be in part to the lack of tipping in Europe, which disincentivizes any effort to be friendly and cordial ,but these people could learn a lot from the cruise industry when it comes to customer service.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. All spoke very good English so we didn't have a problem communicating as our Italian is very limited. The female staff presented us a wonderful cheese selection platter which were all very good. We opted for a big local grilled fish for mains which was cooked perfectly. The house wine was acceptable too. Good location by the sea front. The service was so great that they even called a taxi for us to take us to our next destination which arrived promptly. Highly recommended.
We came here with our walking tour ad was served a lovely salad, pizza, and dessert. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. Would come again
The place is impeccable. Nice restaurant with a view on the sea, specifically the Golf of Napoli including Capri.
This restaurant is literally just around the corner from the Trip Advisor Flipkey) apartment where we are staying. We decided to eat local. I speak a little Italian, the owner a little English; the intersection of our vocabulary was very small. This combined with a large group in for a celebration could have turned out badly. The owner was attentive and when he understood what we thought we had ordered, he sent the instruction to the kitchen and brought out a couple of extra dishes to make up for the delay. This shows the problem of being over ambitious. A simple seafood spaghetti in an oil and butter sauce was superb. The scallopine in either the lemon or wine sauce was good, but we had not thought through the extras and sides. This was authentic service italienne so we were not led throgh the process as we are back home. It all worked out well at no great expense €7 per main). One warning, we were persuaded to have half a carafe of the owner's suggested wine. The hot slopes of Vesuvius seem to lend themselves to a wine with flavours of raisins and other dried fruits not everyone's taste. Overall we had a good evening! If you are moderately competent in Italian you could definitely improve on our enjoyable experience.
