Sophia's Italiano - Naples

Sophia's is our top pick for Italian restaurants in the Naples Area. All pastas, breads and desserts are homemade and the service is impeccable. What ever we order, we are delighted with the choice. If you go, plan to spend a delightful evening of great Italian food and better yet, they do not rush you to turn over the table.

First time at Sophia's and it was outstanding! Easily the best authentic Italian food in Naples. They make all of their pasta's and bread from scratch every day. I had a trio with Chicken Parm, Ravioli and Pappardelle Bolognaise, my sister had the Veal Chop Marsala and her boyfriend had the Veal Chop Scarpariello. Each one was absolutely delicious! The owner and his wife were so gracious and made sure everyone was happy with their meal. I highly recommend Sophia's to anyone looking for great Italian food.

We came to Sophia's as a family party of 7 (4 adults and 3 children). The adults all had veal chop dinners and each was was amazing; soft, tender and delicious. Oh; I forgot to say huge!! The Veal dinners come with salad (caesar or house) and a side of pasta. I had eggplant parm as my side and my son had lasagna. The ladies each had different homemade pastas as their sides. They loved their veal and their sides. One grandson was going to get a pasta dish and Jay the owner offered him a trio of pastas so he could have a tasting ofdifferent pasta dishes. Bread was great as was the Pinot Noir. We were too full for desserts. Everyone can't wait to go back on their next visit to see grandma and grandpa. BTW; service was exceptional; Camille was terrific. A real winner dinner!! Expensive but every bite was amazing!!

We recently dined here for the first time. Service was excellent and friendly but we thought that the menu was overpriced for the quality we experienced. We both ordered veal chop dinners with salad and pasta as our sides. Portions were ample and the veal was tender but we felt that both lacked sufficient seasoning. We were a bit disappointed b/c everyone raved about the veal chops. NOT our experience. Based on this visit, not sure we will ever return.
