I just had a wonderful birthday experience here. This restaurant is a gem, it’s been here for a while but I never tried until recently when my friends had my birthday here. They gave me my birthday meal for free!!! I really like the crab cakes because they are a lot of crab, not much of the filler stuffing. The lobster bisque was also really great. I’ll be sure to be back.

We went to The Real Seafood Company , for Valentine 's Day! We had made reservation months in advance so when we arrived we expected to be seated relative quickly. They shoved us in the corner right by the door, and it was pretty chilly. So after 20minutes we got up and sat in the bar. There was an open table in the bar/lounge so we sat down since there were no seats (away from the door...windy breeze) This extremely rude female server came over and demanded we get up at once since the table had a reserved card on it. My response was... hmm no one is here yet, it looks like it 's reserved for us! She had us move none the less, the manager came up to us... and get this... Sat us at the table we were sitting at. Then the rude server ended up being our server. She apologized and tried to be polite but her tip was already gone. We both had seafood... excellent food... but rude service. I would recommend only if you know the service has changed!

The first time we went there was because of a gift certificate. It was delicious and we had the same dinner both times we were there (Lake Erie Perch). We had guests from Memphis and took them there last week and they loved it too. We will be going back often, but next time I will try something other than Perch (it will always be my favorite).

Service was a little slow. But, it was more than worth it. Everyone in our party was very pleased with their meal.
