Pizza Coconut Cafe - Naples

I will never eat another pizza besides the one from this restaurant. Very light, not filling and sooo good for you. It will keep you asking for more. Everything is fresh and organic leaving you feeling completely satisfied! I recommend it for everyone!

I ate at the “Pizza and Coconut Café” in Naples and had a horrible experience with my family. I recommend that you stop advertising this restaurant on your website, especially if you choose to be represented by the local enterprises and other chain restaurants you advertise. My family and I had just united for a Christmas lunch and were ready to enjoy a nice lunch together. My Mother ordered a salad and the rest of us ordered pizza. My Mother wasn’t happy with her selection and the rest of us agreed that the salad was very sub par. It was suppose to be a Mango Lime Slaw that was suppose to synthesize fruit with Lime and incorporate a vinegar dressing. The salad tasted like lettuce mixed with vinegar……it was terrible. We spoke with the server and kindly asked her if it was possible for her to replace the salad with another. She offered to do so immediately and that was that, until the bill arrived. Immediately we discovered that the check included charges for both salads including the salad that they agreed to exchange . We discussed this issue with our server and she said that she was ordered to charge us for both by the owner. We asked to speak with the owner. When the owner arrived we could barely articulate a sentence before she lashed out on us hurling insults consisting of, “I’m not making any money from your table!”, “I don’t have to treat you well”, “I don’t care if you’re not happy and will never eat here again”, and “Our food is the best in town and NO ONE has ever complained before.” The owner of the restaurant, an older woman with blonde hair, was rude, arrogant, immature, irrational, and non empathetic what so ever to our situation. Never in my entire life have I seen my family treated so poorly and unprofessionally by a restaurant establishment. I will never return to this restaurant and ask that others avoid “Pizza and Coconut Café” in the future in order to communicate that this type of customer service will not be tolerated. The bottom line is this restaurant is a local enterprise, and the owner does reserve the right to act this way without fear of losing her job………but not her business.
