Zeppe's Italian Market - Naperville

The cashier kindly gave me a quick overview of the restaurant, which she referred to as the "10 cent tour." The food was delicious.

We adore Zeppe's! Their Italian cookies are fantastic. Just tried the meatballs with Zeppe sauce for the first time and absolutely love both! So delicious!

Southeast edge of Naperville. Nice friendly staff, good selection of items and they also own pizza place next door too. Great Italian beef sandwich!

I love this neighborhood market! I haven?t tried all the things I want to but so far so great! The grab and go meatballs are really amazing! Also very good is the mixed sausage and meatball grab and go. I?ve bought some of their canned tomatoes andsauce and it brought one of my recipes to the next level best. I?m so happy it?s so close to my house!

I arrived at the restaurant on a late Tuesday afternoon. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who seemed more suspicious than helpful. Despite being dressed in a suit, I felt as if I was being watched. I browsed the market and purchased two bags of ravioli, a large container of sauce, and some pepperoni from the deli counter. The woman working at the deli seemed bothered by my request for pepperoni and suggested I buy pre-sliced from the fridge, which looked old. With a sigh, she reluctantly helped me. The gentleman who greeted me at the door was now behind the counter and aggressively asked if I needed anything else. As I shopped for more items, he appeared cold and distant towards the lady in front of me. At the register, I requested bakery cookies and purchased several options, which also seemed to inconvenience him. Overall, the service was poor and the staff were rude and unwelcoming. They made it clear that they did not enjoy customers. I felt uncomfortable and like a bother to them. The food was overpriced, although the cheese and ravioli were tasty, the ravioli had been frozen too long and some edges were freezer burnt. The sauce was a spicy spaghetti sauce that tasted like tomato juice and required additional ingredients to improve the flavor. I left feeling disappointed and will not be returning. Customers deserve better treatment than what was provided at this market. I would rather drive to Chicago for better service and a more pleasant shopping experience.
