Stone Brewing Napa

Great visit to Stone. We had a beautiful view of the river and the downtown lights. The food has really improved since our first visit right after opening. Really great time!

The building is beautiful, along with great outdoor dining along the river. As you would expect, excellent choice of beers. However, the food is marginal. Particularly the bbq dishes. We all thought the bbq meats (chicken, pork and brisket) were poorly cooked and not very tasty.

Made reservations for a nice table to take my husband on a special date and they tried to put us on a round table in the middle of the restaurant that seats 6 people. The only other option was a couch area with a small coffee table so we ended up taking that. Nobody explained that we have to order our food by ourselves on our phones and basically have no personal service. Even when trying to order with special instructions for the food it still came out wrong. The ambiance is very cute but horrible culture and experience for this place that could be great if they didn’t remove any kind of service and personal experience.

Had to ask three times for our forgotten appetizer got it after our entrees and they didn’t even offer to comp it.
