Bidrage med feedbackThe 9-course menu: the Kaiseki experience is beautifully composed, elegant step and can such exquisite presentations like the seasonal hassun - revealing poached aubergine in dashi and seared sonoma entenbrust. other courses have stroh smokten hokkaido scallop sashimi with jidori eigelbsauce; wagyu bark tenderloin with a reduction of own Bordeaux style mix. combine the wagyu with the kenzo cabernet $70/glass) for a great food pairing. we also ordered the entire selection of the chef of Edomae style sushi, which was not part of the Kaiseki experience. if they still have hunger, it is worth the extra money. the rice that is remarkable is a small part than typical sushi you can eat more of their amazing sushi dishes. the dishes are prepared with what is in the season, so the sushi offers can differ. highly recommended!
I visited this restaurant with high expectations, influenced by its Michelin rating. Overall, there were no major mistakes, but the meal was quite underwhelming. The wine list was notably limited, and your Kenzo Estate rosé was enjoyable but overpriced—available at twice the usual price. Most dishes were visually appealing but lacked excitement. The standout was the sushi course, which was perfect. Unfortunately, dessert was disappointingly mediocre, with one item described as a "pfann cake" being inedible. The service was attentive and prompt, but in the end, I found little value in the overall experience.
This beautiful Michelin-star restaurant showcases traditional Japanese cuisine. The chef who prepares the sushi offers a delightful taste that honors old-school traditions. Overall, it provides a fantastic gourmet experience.
I can't praise this restaurant enough. The staff has done an outstanding job adapting to the new COVID restrictions. The food and service were absolutely incredible. It's easy to see why this place has earned a Michelin star. If you can manage to get a reservation, it's definitely worth it.
