Angèle Restaurant Bar - Napa

The foods here are very dense and are mostly comfort food that are great for the holidays or those cold rainy days! My friends and I did family style and ate a small piece of each item and we were all full at the end. It's a bit pricey, but the service was good.

Fabulous! Great food for the cost as as well. Angus was just our style. Thank you sir! Great service and conversation. We enjoyed dinner and then lunch the following day.

Can't say enough about this restaurant!!! We absolutely loved our experience at Angele! Our waiter Dan was sensational, and his recommendations were all AMAZING. The ambiance, the wine, and the food were all part of our amazing experience. The lamb, the pork chop, the bass, the escargo were all completely beyond!! It brings you right to the French country, a MUST VISIT IN NAPA!

After my birthday dinner was canceled without warning at Wilfried's Lounge, Angele were able to squeeze us in at the bar seating. The service was good, as were the cocktails. Most of the food was also good, but the sweetbread bouchee (my dish) was a real miss. It tasted exactly like (and I mean, suspiciously identical to) the frozen chicken pot pies I would get from the grocery store... except with a $36 pricetag. (It wasn't really redeemed by the shaved truffles, which are the cheap Perigord ones and too mild to overcome the generic chicken pie flavor)... But the other dishes were good: steak and fries, and the bowl of Manila clams (meaty clams and a good portion) This would have been a 5 star review, if only my $36 dish didn't taste exactly like what I get for $2 at Safeway.

Phenomenal start to finish, simply wonderful and worth reviewing. Amazing flavors and preparation in every drink and dish. The soup should make Bouchon jealous, they just got outdone big time.
