Subway - Nanaimo

This subway restaurant is decent, but it falls short compared to the Metral location in terms of cleanliness and quantity of fillings. Another issue is that the closest parking is nearly 100 feet away, and if you happen to get caught in one of the frequent Island Monsoons, you may end up with a soggy sandwich by the time you make it back to your car.

I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food is mediocre and the staff seems untrustworthy. I suggest looking for a better alternative to Sh#tway.

Although it may seem silly to review a Subway restaurant since they are all fairly similar, I have to say that this particular location is probably my favorite fast food chain. The young employee who served us had a great sense of humor, telling us corny jokes like "why are scarecrows so popular? Because they are excellent in their field." The vegetables were fresh as always, and the steak and cheese sandwich is definitely a top choice for us.

I can't trust these outlets. The food is stale, the staff are suspect. Don't bother. You can easily find a better alternative than Sh#tway.

And a this one we had a young fellow serving us who kept plying us with bad jokes (eg. why are scarecrows so popular? A: They're outstanding in their field). And the vegetables are always fresh, and the steak and cheese sub is probably our favourite.
