Smitty's - Nanaimo

This restaurant is a Canadian tradition (at least for me) and should be a cornerstone for anyone looking for a cheap meal and amazing friendly service. It is a great restaurant for people of all ages and a great place for coffee or a full...Meal. Breakfast all day! Yes. Bravo to my server (which was generous with the butter... lol. and very friendly).

Let's be honest if you go to Smitty's (or at a place where it is) don't go to dinner, you'll go for a cheap, decent quality. I think the food is pretty good, it's not five stars, but I wouldn't expect it. It has... good options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is easy to standard food without much effort.

We found that most places were closed for breakfast, so we decided to try Smitty's. We opted for the Sirloin steak and egg breakfast, which was both fresh and delicious. The coffee was also of good quality and had a nice, strong flavor. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices.

We waited at the door while a waitress had a whole conversation with a person who sat to eat. She didn't see us to help us or called someone to come to the door for us. So we finally waited someone... brought us to the table Karria. Since this was the first time, we asked her Kirra) what is good to eat, it is our first time that she said, I don't know and went away. what a friendly customer service. How about I'm not sure who knows what's good for you????? Overall experience was bad and will never take my family back there. Nobody cares. I was a waitress for a long time, it's hard to see this kind of serenity.

We ordered Cobb salads. They came with no salt and pepper, and barely any dressing. We had to ask for both. The salad itself was very good, with nice and fresh lettuce and no unpleasant odor. However, the service was terrible. Our server asked if my husband wanted a beverage refill, but he never received it. Half of the patrons were not wearing masks when entering and leaving the restaurant. This will be the last time we eat here.
