Noodlebox - Nanaimo

I have been a fan of Noodlebox well before they opened in Nanaimo, and this one is a hit and miss. The other night was one of the misses, one that I wish I had missed, for some reason, the noodles were lacking and I think they tried to bulk it out with bean sprouts.The Langford one is one of my favourites, and probably the one I set the standard to, this location seems to be loosing ground with time.

Thai noodles had too much fish sauce and noodles weren't cooked all the way while the chow mein had no flavour. Quite disappointed cuz they used to be very delicious.

Noodlebox is delicious! I love stopping in when I'm in town. I usually get the spicy peanut noodle box and it's so big that I can get 2 meals out of it. Will definitely continue to eat here.

This is a chain, but a well-organized one. There is a myriad of items from which to choose, vegetarian, fish or meat, and many different types of noodles and sauces. You sit at long communal tables and your order is brought over. I liked the on-tap free of charge sparkling water.

Went there for lunch and ordered the TumYum soup, it was very flavorful. I ordered the medium hot 3peppers, and must say that it was very hot, and I like hot. Overall good food and at a reasonable price
