Delicado's - Nanaimo

Oh my goodness what a find! I only wish they were closer to my house. The food here is wonderful so full of fresh vegetables, homemade ingredients, and care. The staff was super friendly and pleasant. You get to choose from a selection of fresh salads. The sauces are impeccable. The atmosphere is kitchy and homey feeling. You can grab your own mug and water. The to go container for your leftovers is a paper plate and tin foil which is compostable, recyclable, and feels like your at a friend's place taking home leftovers. A must check out place!

Absolutely lovely little restaurant. My husband and I managed to come in before a rush and sat at the counter by the window, and it was very relaxing to have a healthy lunch while looking over part of the lower city. As for food, the mild spice level truly is perfect for those who don 't like spice. I 'm definitely going to be more adventurous the next time I come by, and try the 'medium ' level. I look forward to trying more of the menu!

I haven't visited this restaurant in years since I live out of town. We decided to try a couple of wraps and ordered them medium/hot. They were absolutely delicious! The friendly staff provided excellent service, making this restaurant a must-visit.

Pretty good I'd say, gluten free options for roll ups. No dessert tho it was a great place to chill and have a soda with my family. Kids enjoyed their order, quiet clean. Thx!

I grew up in Nanaimo and Delicado’s was always my favourite. 10 years later and every time I come back it’s my first stop. It’s still just as good and I get the same thing every time (veggie wrap southwest rice salad). I love it, it’s delicious, filling, and feels nourishing. It’s not often I would be so happy with a place that never changes, but this is most definitely an exception. Why mess with perfection?
