Alexandra's Bistro - Nanaimo

I had a wonderful lunch at Alexandra's yesterday. The service was pleasant and quite friendly. I ordered a delicious monte cristo with plenty of whipped cream. For the main course, I ordered the share for 2 platter, which included lamb and chicken souvlaki, pita and tzatziki, calamari and hummus, Greek salad, rice, and potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly, especially the lamb which was seasoned just right. The portion size was generous, enough for 3 people, so unfortunately there was a lot left over. The calamari was crispy and fresh with a light batter. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious Greek meal. I am excited to try more dishes in the future!

We visited on the recommendation of a local and we weren't disappointed. Our food was fresh, excellently cooked and tasted great.

The servers are quick, the daily specials are excellent, and the food is served hot and promptly. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. We had a lovely evening and will definitely return when we are in town again.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The staff was amazing, the prices were very reasonable, and the food we ordered was delicious. My husband and I decided to have lunch there and we both ordered the Moussaka. It came with rice, a side salad (we chose Greek), tzatziki sauce, and naan bread. The Moussaka was one of the best I've ever had, with perfectly grilled and fresh naan and delicious tzatziki. We can't wait to come back and try their seafood menu on Thursday!
