Montes Nairuco - Nampula

A very beautiful place. there are rooms for the night stay . they also have a campaign farm . Restuarants and also the place is surrounded with high mountains for clamber and exploration. as they have a crocodile reservoir

Very nice place a bit outside the city of Nampula. Nice to go and spend half a day. They offer a good meal. But it is also perfect for your own food and drinks. Only for the picnic area they ask the entrance. I don't understand why, but okay. It's still beautiful. Entrance is 300MZN per person.

Beautiful place to spend a weekend with friends or family

This place is situated in a really beautiful spot. With a dam and mountains all around. They have a citrus farm and you can buy naartjies, oranges and maybe grapefruits. They have cages with ostriches and turtles, a side striped jackal (he didn't look that happy), crocodiles and some little colorful birds. The room was clean and comfortable, the room for the toilet and shower was really small. Shower only gave out barely warm water. Breakfast and lunch was really good. It's a restaurant that has some rooms and a campsite, where you can stay or picnic for the day. It seems to be the place locals from Nampula go to for a day out. I made it my stop on my way back to Malawi as I preferred to stay out of the city and it was perfect for that. I arrived late afternoon so late lunch was dinner. If your going to stay the night either bring your own dinner or order before the restaurant closes at 5/6pm There is also no internet in this area due to the mountains but apparently you can text of call but my Movitel sim did not work
