Orchid Garden Ana Crowne Plaza Grand Court Nagoya

Wifi is very unstable, half the rooms on the floor couldn't get a good connection. Often disconnect every few minutes. During summer season the centralised air conditioner barely feels cold, hotel also doesn't provide a stand fan.

Location is very convenient to restaurants, shops, bars and public transport. The room is compact but stocked with hotel amenities. There's a microwave for hotel guests usage on the 16th floor, outside the elevators.

2nd 4 night for me 2023. Used to stay at the Marriott at Nagoya station but much prefer the Crowne Plaza at Kanayama because the great neighborhood with many nearby dining options, easy access to the station and also the expressways Always choose a large high room with a view which is spectacular. Room is spacious, bed comfortable and the staff at the front desk are wonderful. My only complaint is breakfast which is geared to Japanese guests not westerners. I love Japanese food but for breakfast I want something western to start the day and one of the reasons I stay at IHG properties The Japanese offerings are very premium but on the western section it just looks like they sourced the cheapest made Japanese made products just to say they have western options. Bacon and sausage are terrible and the rest looks inedible Their lack of effort or caring is disappointing for this detail because it is the last image of the stay. I would be embarrassed to serve this to anyone If we want something more western save your 3,800 they charge and walk over to Starbucks.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. You are greeted every time you are in the hotel and the staff is very helpful. Souvenirs available in lobby and a beautiful array of Japanese cakes which are extremely tasty! Centrally located by Kanayama station. We could not have stayed at a better hotel!

It’s a nice hotel, conveniently local next to Kanayama train station. The property is not new so the rooms, but the service is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Recommend for those guests who have travels needs.
