Auberge du Pastel - Nailloux

We were invited with a charming couple who leaves not far from there and do come quite often to this place. The surrounding is very nice with the view on the pool and the lac de Thésauque down the hill. We were welcome very nicely,...the staff was efficient and trying there best to make us happy. The dining room is all in simple white... The menu was excellent for the quality and the price. We started with the salade de gesiers (Gourmet salade). We had there famous cassoulet (Excellent), the farm chicken with potatoes sarladaises, steak with home french fries and for desert apple crisp (croustade au pommes) ice cream and lovely coffee and sweet The rosé was excellent. The service was unfortunately slow even we ha plenty of time... Outside of that we had such a lovely time.

The kitchen is a little boat, nothing extraordinary type, or nothing to say either. medium type of kitchen with a little expensive rates for this type of establishment. No bad memories either.

Very pleasant, quiet, on the edge of a garden with swimming pool. The staff is charming but keep quiet. Meals rather copied, very fresh and made homemade cooking of the meat I took, which is quite rare to be emphasized, delicious fries just as the cassoulet
