Sashimi was soso but a bit expensive for the price. please do not use Tamanoi brand vinegar, dear Okinawan taverns. It stinks!

It was delicious, the food was amazing! Once again, Unigos in Okinawa did not disappoint. The flavors were delightful and I am already looking forward to going back this year.

We visited the restaurant with a 5-year-old child and 4 adults. They had proper infection control measures in place, so we were able to enjoy our meal with peace of mind. The food was delicious, and they offered a variety of awamori (Okinawan distilled spirit) options for those who enjoy alcohol. The staff was helpful and gave recommendations based on our preferences when we were unsure. Highly recommended!

I absolutely adored this hidden gem of an Okinawan restaurant, located just a few streets away from the bustling tourist hub of Naha. We had a voucher for complimentary Umi-budo, but the manager informed us they had run out and instead offered us unlimited free drinks for the three of us. This kind of service is usually reserved for customers sitting at the counter. I opted for a bottle of Orion beer. The food was prepared by a delightful elderly Okinawan lady, and local friends mentioned that this establishment specializes in serving traditional homemade dishes. The sushi counter was beautifully presented, the seating area was spacious, and the atmosphere was calm and serene – not the noisy style of an izakaya.
