Bidrage med feedbackSombreros why! I ate there before the pandemic and everything was so good, and had flavor. Their beans where to die for, now not so much. The food has no flavor and barely edible. For the price it is not worth it. I hope the old sombreros comes back, but I don?t know if I will ever be back to know.
This is not real tex-mex food, the rice tasted like dishwater, the cheese was like Velveeta , and the margaritas were lacking in flavor and booze and tasted like slush machine. Service was great staff was friendly and accommodating. Do not go here if youhave ever had actual tex-mex,(Houstonians be warned) you will fall into depression.
Everything was great, except for the tails wrapped IN the bacon in the shrimp/bacon wraps. My daughter almost choked, because we weren't aware the whole thing was in there. The manager said it happens every once in a while...all four were wrapped the same. She offered another plate of the same thing when we asked for a discount, no thanks! Our server was very attentive! The pricewas on point for the amount of food we ordered! We will give it another shot when we're back in town.
On a visit to Nacogdoches, we wanted Mexican for lunch were not disappointed! From the iced tea, to salsa !! to green sauce !! to chips, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Keri was a delightful server who answered our questions and comments attentively. My sister I both had the Lunch Trio Combo for $10.95 which came with rice and beans. We both had the Cheese Puff Crispy BeefTaco but split on beef enchiladas vs cheese enchiladas. Overall, we were very pleased that our last Big Meal in town would be sonice. Great place!
Fun place and good food, Tex-Mex with a Gulf Coast influence, but plenty of non-seafood dishes as well. My shrimp fajitas were great and with a bit of spice. Ample portions, too. Service is friendly and welcoming. btw I loved their red salsa!
