The cheese train was epic. Her special day was the cowboy slice with bacon, BBQ sauce and pineapple. I mean CRAZY good. Appropriate price for the famous disc too. Pros: good service and satisfying disk Cons: will be busy if you only want to enjoy your pizza in peace I want again!
I never saw the movie, but I always heard about the pizza, and I had to check it out. It was a cool scene inside and good moods. We just kept it and got a big simple cake and some bread sticks, and it wasn't disappointed. The pizza was thick and dry and lots of cheese. I'd like to eat my pizza fresh out of the oven so that I'll open my mouth! You have many pictures on the walls of the movie and many other pictures from the 80s that you really get back to a better time. I remember getting pizza with my family on Friday night! There is a small gift shop area in front of the bar to get T-shirts and aprons and other fun things. There are some street parking places, but it is quickly filled, especially in the busy season. There are some lots over the street, but they also fill. They open early to make sure to go before the masses.
Best pizza I had in my life. The spices are not exaggerated and the cheese really tastes fresh. The crust is light and fluffy, fresh vegetables and friendly staff. The road is always a beautiful sight. Sit on the water and take a piece and enjoy!
Love the movie and had the 2.5 hours car to try the pizza, and let me tell you it wasn't disappointed. The Greek pizza was fabulous. The crust was perfect and the toppings worked together perfectly. The restaurant is covered in so much film memorabies. I wish I could have seen everything. You will give you paper menus if you are a fan of the movie and want a little souvenir. The prices in the gift shop are very reasonable.
Never saw the movie but went for lunch as my wife knew of the place and had visited years ago. We had the fried pickles and a large pepperoni and pineapple pizza. I’m from NYC and this is closer to pan or deep dish than a typical NYC slice. That said, it wasn’t bad. I actually enjoyed it as I like my pizza fluffy and doughy. It honestly reminded me of a Pizza Hut pan pizza but more homemade. It was a decent size pizza and we each ate two slices and brought 4 home for later. Fried pickles were awesome. Best I’ve had to be honest. Not too oily, not clumped together. Well done. Service was quick and we didn’t have an issue getting a seat at noon on a rainy Saturday. Waitress was nice and checked in on us. Knocked a star off as they really take advantage of the movie association as the prices are high even for a touristy place. $40 for a soda, one pizza, and fried pickles is a bit ridiculous.
