Holiday Inn Express Mystic Groton Area, An Ihg

The staff is great, rooms are always super clean, location is perfect. Close to interstate and cute little stores across the street. I travel often and this is one of the best Holiday Inn Express hotels.

Staff was very friendly. The room was quiet as we were on the end and on the second floor. Room smelled at first and seems to need some attention. The bed was comfortable. The only complaint was our last night the people above were very loud and we had to get up at 2:00 am for a flight. If possible I would recommend the third floor.Rooms: 3/5

My wife and I traveled here for a political science convention being held down the street at the HIlton. We are glad that we chose it! It was less expensive than the HIlton, and was an easy walk to it. The hotel is in excellent condition and was not hard to find. Everyone there was courteous, and we would be pleased to stay there again. Everything was in superb condition; this is a well maintained hotel. There's plenty of shopping and places to eat nearby as well.

IHG is my preferred hotel whenever I travel. Stayed overnight as part of a birthday celebration during the Memorial Day weekend. This establishment is in an excellent location with beautiful views. You can walk to just about every attraction and restaurant. However, with a cost of over$450 for an overnight stay, the hotel did not have enough baths, hand, and wash towels for the needs of each guest. When a request was made for additional items, the response was we 're out of them! The desk clerk was informed that people should not be expected to share a hand or washcloth to which, he went into a room and provided an additional washcloth that had been previously used. This is beyond unacceptable...

First time I’ve stayed at a Holiday Inn that didn’t have Cinnamon Buns at their breakfast. Stayed 2 days and no buns! Just dry packaged muffins. Would have given 4 stars if they had the cinnamon buns! The rest was just average. Location of hotel was good.
