Bidrage med feedbackLoved this cider mill. We got cider slushies, apple pie, cider donuts and cider. It was all amazing! We went when it just opened for the season and on the weekend. Be prepared to wait in lines and you might have to park on the street, which is just a two lane street with no berm. But it’s well worth the visit!!
We had time while the apple cider donuts were cooking to watch the apple pressing process. The equipment is old made of wood and iron but so clean and well tended. It was great! We purchased apple butter, pumpkin butter, donuts and hard cider. Love it all!
Worse customer service ever! I live local and walked to this place to get my wife Apple turnovers. After walking 5 miles and waiting in line for 30 minutes, the clerk refused to sell me any turnovers. The turnovers were right there on multiple racks! I saw them come out of the oven 20 minutes prior as I advanced in line. I was told they were too hot. I asked when they might be cool enough. I was told “ we don’t know”. I asked if they could ask on my behalf, they said they were not allowed to. I kindly said I would step aside and wait. It can’t be much longer for they had been cooling since I walked in the door earlier. I was told I couldn’t do that it would hold up the line. If I stepped aside, how would it hold up the line? I was told to leave. I had frequented Clyde’s over the years but will no more. Go to a different local option. There are many others that are still governed by joyful human discourse.
We went just to get some cider and apple cider doughnuts and they did not disappoint! They just opened up for the season and were very crowded and you need to wait on a very long line to get said doughnuts and cider but they make the best cider I've ever had so the crowd makes sense. They have much more than cider and doughnuts too so I suggest you check them out!
They have the best cider. It is not too sweet and taste fresh. The cider donuts were fresh and delicious. We were here in October and they were extremely busy. The line does move fast if you’re going to the main building to get treats. The main building is not dog friendly, but the rest of the property is. There is a second smaller building behind the tastings that has the hard cider and some knickknacks. The downside is parking. The first time we were lucky and got a spot in their lot but the second time we had to park on the street, which is still limited and the residents don’t love it, and walk a good bit. I recommend going early to beat the lines and get good parking.
