La Casona Mexican - Myrtle Beach

Great food, our waitress was fantastic. Chips are homemade. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and was kind of dreading what would come, but was surprised how good it looked and it tastes as good as it looks.

Not one thing we ordered was bad. The food is excellent. I wanted to order everything again! Definitely set La Casona in rotation!

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, La Casona is one of the places where you come.

Everything is done here by hand, the chips were made freshly thick and crispy and you could say that it wasn't from a pocket and heated quickly. I got the house Steak Burrito med-rare and my mother got the chicken enchiladas, my mother's mouth fell when she tasted it and she had for once a lack of words trying to tell me how big they were, so she took my fork and gave me some that I enjoyed right away, the sauces flooded my tongue giving the bite a great taste. My Burrito was perfectly cooked and the taste was from the world! I would highly recommend this place for a great food, I know I will come back for more when I come back to visit.

The food was surprisingly good here and nice Southern Mexican style. I was a bit surprised to see plantains with my carne asada but it was delicious! Met the owner and his wife both are very nice they put a lot of soul into this place with a few tweaks I think the restaurant could be fantastic!
