Captain D's Seafood Kitchen

Recently, I decided to try out Captain D's, so my husband and I drove over an hour to get there. We decided to use the drive-thru. My husband mentioned that the cashier asked quite a few questions, but I believe she just wanted to ensure we were satisfied with our order. The food was delicious, although on the pricier side. Overall, great job Captain D's!

The cashier, who took my order 30 to 45 minutes ago, was diligent, considerate, and professional. I believe her name was Juliette, though she had red or strawberry blonde hair. If any of our Charlotte family or friends are looking to enjoy some seafood in Myrtle Beach, this restaurant is a great option. It's not overly crowded, which is a plus. I can definitely recommend having dinner here.

I am a big fan of Captain D's. I only go there about two or three times a year. On my last visit, I ordered a 4 piece meal and ended up taking half of it home. The next day, I reheated it in my air fryer and it tasted just as delicious and crispy as it did when I first bought it.

Really good fried food. The cat fish, okra, and green beans are really good, And you can't go wrong with their hush puppies. The customer service is lacking. The lady at the drive thru is short in patience and rather rude.

I give Captain D's this rating because the seafood is fast, inexpensive, crispy and tasty. First time my take out was perfect. Second time, when I got home I discovered that my Supreme Seafood Platter contained only one piece of battered fish instead of two. I see that another review had a similar problem. The Captain needs to hire galley staff that can count to two. Count your fish!
