Bad buffet, bland and repetitive food until boring, the regular all-inclusive being bad, everything jug and there is not always everything and what is worse, it does not include a sad ice cream for children. Just animation with boring music that was repeated morning and night. It is not by far from me to understand a four star, and let's say what is superior is very debatable. Far below my expectations. I do not repeat. The only thing that stands out is the kindness of some of the waiters, the cleaning staff and the concierge. Rooms: 3 Service: 2 Location: 1

Un poco alejado de la playa. Las habitaciones no teniam doble cortina y a las 7 de la mañana ya entraba mucho sol. La nuestra daba a la parte de atrás y el ruido de las máquinas no dejaba dormir. Rooms are ok, a good size, but don’t expect complimentary tea or coffee, they don’t do it. We had an issue with leaking aircon, but they fixed it very quickly (good maintenance staff). Also an issue with safety on our balcony as glass screen was loose, wasn’t fixed during our stay, quite a big safety issue with small children who could simply push the glass out at 3 storeys high. Pool is a bit dirty, but big and could be better if cleaned once in a while (mould growing in the grout at bottom of pool and yellow scum line around water line), kids enjoyed it though. Hotel breakfast is pretty good and selection is decent, hotel dinner is not so good, the hot plates do not seem to work correctly so any food that should be hot is barely warm. We just walked up the road where there are a couple of small restaurants with good food, the Loft being one I would recommend. The hotel is very remotely located, and more located well for golfers, so think twice before booking a family holiday if you want to be able to see things outside of the hotel without spending a fortune on taxis or hiring a car. Staff at the hotel are a mixture of helpful and not so helpful. Reception staff are particularly slow and inefficient. If you need a taxi book your own, the reception are hit and miss, initially they didn’t order a taxi for us, it was painful trying to get a taxi ordered by the hotel. We went to El Campello beach where there is a good choice of restaurants 15 mins away. For some reason the taxi firm the hotel uses struggles to get a taxi for 6 people so send 2 taxis at double the charge. Yet the restaurant in El Campello easily got us a taxi for 6 people for our return to the hotel at half the price (17.50 euros). Bar staff and pool staff good. In summary it’s like a hotel that used to be a 4 star standard but have let the standard slip a bit over time. It wouldn’t take much for the owners to get a grip on the business and improve cleanliness, service and food. Maybe they don’t need to, it’s reasonably busy. Maybe they don’t read these reviews who knows. We wouldn’t come back for the reasons stated and the fact all the other 4 star hotels I’ve stayed at in Spain have been a far higher standard.
