Bidrage med feedbackHad a pretty big group booking here, which was amazing. Large selection of spirits, beers and wines and there was something for everyone. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely be back.
Hope is a brewery, distillery and winery in one. You have so many beers on Hahn and a great mood. I wish we could all have tasted. Your sour beers are delicious. The outdoor area has a magnificent view of its vineyard. Keep an eye for Kangaroos while you drive in!
Visited Hope Estate as their sister vineyard that I normally visit, Tower Estate, was closed. Enjoyed the tasting at Hope Estate, with a lovely range of wines.
Went to see Sunset Sounds. Very laid back line up. If you are ever thinking of doing VIP at Hope, it's a long, long way from the stage. I couldn't really hear or see anything. Still great to be out.
Saw The Killers at Hope Estate December 2022. The concert itself was fantastic The Killers put on a fabulous performance and the sound and show production quality were excellent but Hope Estate as a venue has some room for improvement. We drove to the venue, and while there was plenty of parking onsite with marshals directing traffic as it arrived, leaving the venue was an absolutely nightmare. We were expecting that it would take a while to get out and had accepted this, but it took us an hour and 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot (paddock), and an hour of that we sat still and didn’t move at all. It was a complete shambles primarily because they did not have any traffic control marshals helping to manage the situation and the flow of traffic, meaning everyone just got stuck in a gridlock. Hope Estate should consider investing in post event traffic control to improve customer experience. The venue also has an overly strict no chair policy. While this is understandable for high lawn chairs, they weren’t even allowing those ground level compact fold up chairs people were being made to dump their chairs at security or return them to their cars. Since those chairs create no difference in height to sitting on a picnic blanket, this makes no difference from a customer view/experience perspective, so it seems a bit ridiculous. The reason we heard from other people is that the metal inside the chairs is a security risk and can be used as weapon. Likewise, they were not allowing any metal water bottles in, only soft plastic ones. Again, the reason given for this was security related. These rules and their logic would make more sense if the venue didn’t contradict itself by selling cans of beer and soft drink and bottles of wine all of which can be used just as easily as a weapon, if not more so rather than serving all drinks in plastic cups. I would like to see Hope Estate ease up on ground based chairs and water bottles, or be more consistent in their logic for applying rules.
