Chao - Muscat

Great place great people. Such a homely atmosphere with ambience that is soothing to the soul. I have tried Asian food in different places but the food in chao is awesome. Lots of options for vegetarians. Dumpling, corn tartlets, spicy hot and sour soup, corn soup, wasabi sauce, Thai curry. Felt so light after a three course meal plus dessert which is rare these days. Kudos to the chef red rubies in coconut milk reminded me of my moms payasam. Five spice chocolates mousse tasted great. This is the place that Me and my family will miss. Visit this place when you are in chennai. Margarita was much better than in LA

Lovely place in the peaceful confines of MRC nagar. Excellent food and ambience. Chef Lama indulged some of our requests for items that were not on the menu even. The service staff were excellent, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. Loved the private section with the long comfy couch and the giant tv. Must visit if you are in the neighborhood and in the mood for some south-east asian or far-eastern delights!

Wasabi prawns and Ebi Sushi was just awesome.calamari which i tried here is definitely different from what i have tasted so far..crispy with very mild flavour of garlic and some chinese spices.loved their mocktail.my husband absolutely relished their tenderloin main course.if you are a foodie its a must visit place.great service .great food.lovely ambience.

Great place to go with a fun menu. Delicious food, a totally fresh-tasting collection of Asian food and great drinks (non-alcoholic). Really nice staff and a good ambiance to sit and hang out. Good prices, too!

Loved it all... the reception, the decor, the friendly service and of course the food! Malaysian laksa , Bee Hoon and the sushi platter..enjoyed it all.
