Bidrage med feedbackWe noticed the great sign in front of the building and decided to try it. Oh, boy, we're glad we did. Since then we have eaten several times. by far one of the best Mexican restraunts in our opposite. eating is consistently tasteful with many options to fit their palette. but more important was the service fantastic. they really make them welcome and they can say that they put in a lot of love for the place. if they enjoy Mexican cuisine, they support local businesses and want to have a good time with it, I recommend to visit la taqueria el quetzal.
If you haven’t been here you need to go now! Food was amazing. Very cute place. Hidden gem!
The people are so nice, and the food cant be any better. I will defensively come and eat here often. Also the pineapple drink is the best option of a drink you can have.
Delicious authentic Mexican cuisine! By far the best place I’ve been to locally! Must go and try!!!!!
This place is legit. Fresh, fresh, fresh. They make everything to order...tortillas, chips and salsa, everything. If you want “fast food Mexican” where you sit down and they bring you chips and salsa in :30 secs and you order and 5 mins later, they bring your order on a hot plate...this place isn’t for you. Please go somewhere else. Gems like El Quetzal are reserved for people who APPRECIATE fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine. Thank god we have a place like this at the beach for us locals. And to the dude complaining about his shrimp burrito being $11...it’s shrimp. Good seafood ain’t cheap, and cheap seafood ain’t good. Be an adult and have some common sense. I see that Paul love Bubba’s (fast food seafood) and hates Neal Pam’s (literally the best bar in Surfside)...so his poor review makes all the sense in the world now. Paul hates fun.
