We came to Germany for a white devotee and were not disappointed. we were chosen in the beautiful alpenhof murnau and for our Christmas dinner to have the devastation menu. we travel with me, my wife, our two children and my mother. the menu...was excellent with a lot of meat and vegetables dishes. all were very delicious and beautifully presented. the service was excellent. the wine list is extensive and affordable. while some restaurants in the leading role are on surprise, strange combinations or molecular gastronomy (all welcome at the right place and time) this restaurant focuses on quality, taste and harmonie. all the dishes were nicely balanced and the timing exactly right. the lamb and the waking warmed and surrounded with winter vegetables, just right for a cold winter night. the green and spinach soup with cream was sensational. for a family of Australians far from home, the personal made our white Christmas dinner to remember a meal. bravo.
