Griesbrau - Murnau am Staffelsee

Went with a group of people for the beer tour and tasting. Includes 4 different types of beer and a liquor beer. The owner met us dressed in his traditional Bavarian clothing and our first sample of beer. He is very funny and entertaining. Listen up because you have a test at the end and receive a diploma as a Bier Meister Assistant. It was too fun. Food is served from a large buffet and rather inexpensive for the portions. Busy and upbeat atmosphere. Nice gift shop to pick up a few bottles of the beer or other souvenirs.

Great beer, Weißwurst and Bretzel in a nicely converted farm building. Don't forget to check out the food counter for some Händerl or roast with gravy. Great place for lunch.

Great atmosphere and beer. Very typical german. Did not try the food. We did enjoy the beer and the wait staff.

Visited Griesbräu for a cold beer and some typical Bavarian food. Beer is very tasty, especially the "Dunkel". Food was OK, but you could taste that it was already kept warm for hours. Nice place to be, go for it!

We had dinner there and have been a bit disappointed. The waitress firstly forgot drinks then secondly did serve what wasn't ordered. The food is okay, price-wise not the best value to receive. However, traditional food and a nice interior you get anyway.
