Bidrage med feedbackWhen I end up in Festival Mall for whatever reason, I end up dining in The Old Spaghetti House to satisfy my pasta fix. 1. The place is fine for relaxing as it is dimly-lit in a lovely way and the interiors are quaint. 2. It's reminiscent of those hidden restaurants in old Europe. 3. They offer a variety of pasta flavors! I have found some of them to be bland (such as their pastas that are white-sauce based) -- but fortunately, most of their pastas are flavorful. 4. Pasta isn't salty. Neither is it too oily. 5. The noodles are always cooked well. It's never under nor overcooked. 6. The staff here are warm and inviting. 7. One downside though: service is so slow. It takes an average of 20-30 minutes for your food to be served. 8. I also find the pricing a teeny bit too expensive considering its serving size (very tiny, good for one only) and taste. I can pay the same price for extraordinary-tasting pasta elsewhere. Still a good place to try though especially when you're craving for pasta. It's probably the best pasta place you can dine in at Festival Mall.

Spaghetti is sour. I dunno if its me but I find it too sour for a regular spaghetti. I asked my friend if he has the same impression and he agreed that it does not taste good. Pizza slices are too thin and sour also.
This is my go-to place for a pasta fix that wouldn't leave my wallet crippling after. The food tastes good. My favorites would have to be the Vietnamese Spaghetti, Sardines in Oil Pasta, and the Pesto with Grilled Chicken. Too bad they don't serve the Gourmet Tuyo anymore, i used to love that, too. Comparing the pictures on the menu with the actual food in front of you can be a bit disappointing, though. But hey, it still tastes good for its price.
