Woodfire Grille - Mulvane

The food was delicious! I had a wonderful experience. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were great too.

The food was good and the service was great. Note that the items are a la carte and only a touch price.

All 4 steaks were cooked for perfection. Great service. Plan to go back for our next special occasion.

What a great disappointment. We have regularly dropped at Woodfire in the last two years and before COVID. This visit was not only disappointing, but unacceptable. We ordered the Calamari as an appetizer (we ordered Calamari in the past) this mess was stringy and overcooked, sent it back, the server advised, the manager would take a percentage of it out of our account as we had consumed some of it. We hadn't eaten over 4 pieces of Calamari. (In most cases, the manager would come and visit the problem, not this one). I ordered the New York striped steak that had a bone in it and was very hard and crisp. Normally, a New York stripe has no bone in it, even if it has a part of the ends in it. This thing was a Sirloin steak best, more like a Sirloin roast cooked something like a steak, very salty and not edible, we just have it in a box. My lady ordered the sea sheds that were overcooked and hard. On the question of the server there is a new cook that was the answer, yes, we had already identified. The regular bartender trained a newbie who poured the shot before he was full (we were looking at the bar), next round we ordered double so we could have a good drink, the new bartender poured the same single missing a full shot when we contested it was a double. Again, we saw the bar and saw the new bartender pouring a single shot. We returned to the casino in the following night for a special event hosted next to the Woodfire, ran into some people who had thrived there on the same night, and their feelings were the same as our, terrible experience. We will return to the Woodfire, maybe if we learn, there is a change in administration and there is a real cook.

Quiet atmosphere, wonderful eating. great place for a nice dinner.
