The Roadhouse - Mullingar

My Colleague and Myself travel the country and we Stopped off for Breakfast this morning at the Roadhouse. Excellent Car parking and suitable for articulate lorrys with plenty of space for turning. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of food and served really quickly by a beautiful lady. I have to say that this is the best breakfast I’ve had from our travels around Ireland. Coffees are just the best. Fiona we will be back

Good food, able to change to accommodate allergy's. Girl who served us was beyond lovely and so helpful.

All I can say is avoid. It was our 2nd visit and had decided to give it benefit of doubt as 1st visit was not long after opening. 5 of us went for breakfast. All served at different intervals. Member of party who was served first was 10 mins without her tea and toast while others who came in after us got tea and toast before they had got breakfasts. No apology when mentioned to staff. Table staff need training and the chef needs to address his timing issues. Food was edible and well priced but standards are a big let down. Definitely won't be returning and won't be recommending.

We live in Kinnegad and decided to go to the Roadhouse as its under new owners. I had the Tower burger and my wife the carvery roast beef. Both dishes were delicious and plentiful really enjoyed. The staff are really genuinely nice. Prices reasonable . We will be back .

Absolutely brilliant food. Amazing chicken wings in barbecue marinade accompanied by very tasty blue cheese sauce. The fish and chips was out of this world, super fluffy/light batter and gorgeous fish. Chips were super as well thin but extremely nice. The peas was a matter of preference but the fish and chips compensated for that by a 100 miles. Nice atmosphere and a very enjoyable place to visit. Fantastic place and indeed worth a visit. Good parking outside and easily accessible
