The Cloughan Inn - Mullingar

Very poor service and food, been before and hoped things had changed buy alas still as bad as ever. Tried the cod???? again but still the same not cod thats my last time to visit this place

The food was absolutely fabulous! Chicken wings, potato skins for starters. The chicken curry was so tasty and creamy! Creamy mushroom pasta was full of flavour! The decor is dated but the food is perfect! Would highly recommend!

I recently dined at this restaurant with my two children. I can only describe the experience as incredibly disappointing. The atmosphere was dim and the decor seemed outdated. The food was nearly inedible, a rarity for me to say about any dining establishment. I ordered a pint of Guinness and when it arrived, it appeared to resemble gravy in a poorly cleaned glass. I am perplexed as to how this restaurant continues to operate. I would suggest saving your money and dining elsewhere.

Was roped into another visit to this place but accident, Had a meeting with an area manager and HE suggested we stop here, Not my first time but deffo my last, SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE

The food at this restaurant is excellent, with exceptional service. The waitress who served us was friendly and efficient. The food was served quickly. However, the temperature inside the premises was not very warm for a winter evening. I found the price of 20 euros for cod and chips a bit high, but I would still consider visiting again.
