Retro 520 Diner - Mt Vernon

Typical diner, food can hit or miss. I brought my uncle out of town and he liked the nostalgic feeling of the place. If the food was better, I'd come here all the time. Service is good.

If you want to do a pick-up job, don't you? It's a trap and they'll take your money. I came in to pick up my order with the receipt and my money from my bank. You said the machine that accepts online order is down and won?t honor my receipt. If I want my order, I bought it again. My mission was short, so thank God, it wasn't a great mission. Definitely not again here with this treatment.

That was Fleetwood Diner. The food is deliciously fresh, but the service is gone. And it was basically empty with very few tables. Nice people, but obviously tired of their job. This time we waited for menus, water never came to ask, had no cutlery when food came, waited for our review of the checkout was quite mad. Oh, boy.

I've been diner. Service gets a 0. The staff seemed to have harassed us to take our order, and it took 25 minutes to serve us coffee and bring out a cup of orange juice. When the food came out, they forgot to put the bacon in one of the BLT and the other had not the avocado. When we asked for coffee, the waitress literally ignored us and just left. It is important to note that it was not even busy. I will encourage people not to come here for a bad experience.

Do not order the fish tacos. The fish used in the tacos was super fishy. Even after I stated the fish was making sick. The owner said I would have to pay for fish that was not fresh. Do not dine here if you want to add food poisoning to your day!!
