The Old Pilchard Press Cafe - Mousehole

Beautiful little caffe in mousehole. service super friendly with a smile and attention to detail, even fill the teekanne without being asked. the small dinge make the difference! delicious cream tee, even if we put the jam and cream on the wrong wise one would recommend a visit if they are in jam!

On Mother's Day there was one afternoon and it was an absolute tasty bite. sandwiches, freshly baked scones and cakes all made on the ground, and tee served in beautiful bone china. run them from a large couple that could not have done more to make it special. a hidden gem.

Today called for a place to lunch, it was both very tasty and excellent value for money, and the service was great. my wife has the food requirements and nothing was too much effort to fulfill her needs. if they are ever in mousehole, we would certainly recommend that they try the old pilchard press cafe we are sure that they will not be disappointed.

Amazing little place. Best service we've had all holiday.....and the best coffee! Toys and books for kids, great atmosphere. We will definitely return
