Cafe O Molho - Moura

Num dia de muito calor encontrei um restaurante com os verdadeiros Sabores do Alentejo, trata-se de uma verdadeira delícia da culinária alentejana. A Sopa de Cação para mim é sempre reconfortante e um prato a repetir vezes sem conta. A verdadeira estrela da tarde foi a sangria, perfeitamente equilibrada e refrescante. A equipa foi atenciosa e o ambiente acolhedor completaram a experiência gastronómica.

Boa comida alentejana, simpatia, limpeza, preço, condições... Aconcelho vivamente...

Not the fanciest place… a small door, no giant signs…a dozen tables…2 or 3 people as waiters (very attentive and polited … just one more coffee restaurant in a small town in southeast Alentejo province…! …then there is the FOOD! I am sorry but I have to write with capital letters! And I mean FOOD, (not those french salads or american burgers …! Good ol’fashion FOOD, like the one GrandMa used to cook in ancient times… perhaps even better (I think the chicken-peas I ate were even better then my old aunt’s or grandMa… And the regional wine we chose was just phenomenal… Don’t ask me about the desert as I was still on the chicken-peas…!!! The coffee was strong and well flavoured… Gosh, I was so full I could hardly breath…! Gentlemen: this is not “haute-cuisine”… this is FOOD the way it used to be…! Looking for a place for true, typical regional food and wine…(not the “tourist traps” no THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! (and yes, I’ll be there next saturday for lunch…!

Em Moura sem conhecer Restaurantes viemos parar ao MOLHO e não poderíamos ter escolhido melhor, pessoal muito simpatico, comoda tradicional muito boa e sobremesas de fabrico próprio excelentes, preço de acordo com a qualidade apresentada, recomendo bastante.......

The restaurant is a must of you like local alentejo food. The owner is super friendly and helpful and the food delicious. After some bread cheese and local produces er had the migas with grilled black pork meat and feijoada and it was very yummy. Unfortunately didn 't have room for desert but imagine they are also great. If in Moura please visit, you won 't regret
