Bidrage med feedbackThis place is so cool. We stopped by on a vacation trip. Now we go there regularly. So the first time I went to dimple Creek Cafe was because I blew a tire and turned on the street to fix the tire. Well the employees came outside to make sure we were ok and check if we needed help. I changed the tire, exchanged the car at the airport, and came back for lunch. The food was good, and the service was exceptional. They really made me feel like family. The restaurant itself was clean and and we’ll keep but the people are the reason I will continue to return now that Puna district is home.
My honest opinion, it was okay I entered hungry and I left full, but otherwise disappointing. The ambiance, outdoor seating and view was wonderful we enjoyed it with a cup of coffee before eating.I had the grilled chicken bacon blue sandwich with lava fries. Grilled chicken was small compared to the amount of bread, and it was completely falling apart by the end. The fries have great direction, poor execution. Inside of the fries were undercooked and outside were not crispy, I did not finish them.My date had the mushroom Swiss burger, with garlic parm fries. Burger was dry with a firm texture, saying it felt microwaved though we don 't know that for sure. She did not finish, not the burger nor the fries. It seems like there are some changes happening. Not sure if it 's all related..Service was also so so, one lady was bright and smily at the hostess station. Our waitress however was cold, to the point, and seemed pressed to move on.
After I visited volcano national park, tired and hungry, google search showed this one with pretty good review, I love the seating, service is outstanding, foods are so delicious in big portion.

So glad this restaurant is here, Mountain View used to have no really good dining options until Dimple Cheek arrived. Awesome food for a reasonable price. Nice little farmer's market behind the restaurant too. An excellent choice for a meal stop.Food: 5/5
