Taco Taco - Mount Wellington

Awesome tacos and margaritas. We had one of each and got so full. Definitely not the 100% authentic Mexican tacos (I guess they have to adapt them for the kiwi palate) but as close as it gets! After living in California and having had tacos in Mexico as well, my standards are really high lol. I've been looking for good tacos in NZ for months and this is definitely gonna be my go-to place. The mango margarita was delicious as well! We'll come back

The food and drinks were awesome! Really authentic Mexican food. A man who I suspect was the owner was working there tonight and I get the sense it's his first restaurant because he's very eager to impress which makes the experience much more enjoyable. He gave us extra guacamole and asked how our order was, the staff also made sure everything was to our liking. If you haven't been yet then go visit! Worth a shot!

Finally! Auckland has Mexican food very authentic, fresh ingredients, great margaritas and outstanding service. (Have vegetarian and vegan options too)

Great tacos! Loved the ceviche. Tried the cochinita pibil, pastor and pollo, with refreshing Pacifico beer. Only things were missing were some nice tangy salsas on top of the taco tomatillo..etc). Otherwise your best choice for Mexican food! And you can take your doggo, if you sit outside. So handy if you can't leave your pup at home.

Excellent food, and spectacular service tonight. Boss was really nice and literally down to the details, got us a bottle of free beer as a treat, and some Mexican chilli sauce before leaving.
