Wasabi Mount Pleasant

Great place to take your date, girlfriend, wife, or mistress. The food is tremendous and the service is great! Clean and quiet environment aswell. This is easily one of my favorite Japanese restaurants! I've been there at least 25 plus times and I haven't been let down yet. ???

Wasabi is one of our ?Go To? places to enjoy weekly sushi we generally sit at the sushi bar where we have gotten to know the staff however they boast an ambient dining room and outdoor dining patio as well that are equally pleasant. The variety in their menu offers something for everyone and to top it off the staff is friendly , caring and always ready with a fabulous suggestion ?. Wasabi in Oakland is literally the Cheers of Sushi where everyone knows your name. I?ve noticed they have a very regular clientele likely due to the combination of excellent food and friendly staff ? It?s worth the drive and when you go tell them Christy sent you !

Absolutely delicious! Customer service was superb. It was very busy and staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Everyone ordered something different so I got to sample many dishes and one was more delicious than the next. Can?t wait to go back!!

Don?t waste your time. Tasted like frozen Chinese food from the grocery store. Filthy restaurant with a broken glass next to the restroom that every employee walks around. Waitress came to the table 3 or 4 times. Constantly 4-5 young employees hanging out at the hostess stand talking and laughing while only 5 tables in the restaurant had people. If you want to be ignored come here. Absolute embarrassment with zero management.

AMAZING!!! I came all the way from Atlanta for this place. Every year I come to Charleston for the Superbowl, working on the 13 year tradition, but a buddy of mine just moved to Mt Pleasant and I always make it a point to come here to kickoff the weekend. Everything is so fresh, and I'm a stickler for fresh sushi. They even have hibachi options, Pad Thai and fried rice options. The staff os amazing, helpful, patient and so friendly. Our server was Megan and she's the absolute best! A wrong sushi roll was delivered to our table, but the turnaround time for the correction was so quick. I cant say enough good things about this place. And as always, I can wait to come back here and get my sushi fix!
