Locals Mt Pleasant - Mount Pleasant

I'm in charleston for a bachelor party me and another girl arrived early. we went to the food store and after a drink and nailed a place close to it, this place appeared. we are pleasantly surprised. we showed up and I was like music outside and also bought a 50% of sushi rolls. sushi rolls absolutely amazing and channel cocktails. our server trinity was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. in any case when he came across this place by chance.

Delicious food! Makes up for the jam packed and noisy environment. Or just get it to go. Get the locals tower if you like to eat your sushi with a fork. Not a joke, dead serious its awesome, we get it everytime. The Sullivans Roll was good! Nice spice, great flavor balance.

Sushi and tacos in the same place? Yes please! The best part is that both are done exceptionally well here. We had the Nashville hot chicken tacos and a few rolls and everything was excellent! The chicken in the taco was super crispy and not overly spicy. A couple of these would certainly fill a person up, but we had some of their rolls which I would rate above most of the pure sushi bars in the area. This is a great spot that every time we go, we tell ourselves that we need to come more often!

The entire staff… from the hostess, to the back of house staff is friendly and hospitable. I’m from out of town and the entire staff made me feel right at home! Sloan and Walker handle their business the outside bar!!!! If you are looking for a chill, no frills restaurant/bar experience….. this is the place. The entire staff will definitely treat you right.

First time eating here!! Food and drinks were amazing! Walker, our server, was fantastic as well!
