The Firehouse Grill - Mount Horeb

None of the staff were wearing masks, despite the mask mandate in Dane County. I had to wait for 5 minutes and even had to step into the cooks' area to get their attention. After that, I waited another 5 minutes after the cook informed the bartender that I was waiting.

The atmosphere is fantastic, and there is a wide selection of food and drinks available.

I had one of the best burgers I've ever tasted, especially for just $12. I was pleasantly surprised by its quality, particularly from a bar with such a small grill. Honestly, I would have gladly paid twice as much for that burger! It came with two half-pound patties, four thick slices of bacon, three slices of deli cheese, and the ideal condiments. The service was outstanding, and the bartender was both funny and engaging. I'm definitely planning to return on my next visit next year!

The bartenders and customers at this place are absolutely wonderful! Everyone is exceptionally friendly and genuinely cares for one another.
