Shack - Mount Hood Village

They are sadly gone and another hole in our community. Covid the fake took away so much and this was one of the great places to eat on the mountain. Hopefully they come back

Love going here for some great food. Love their onion strings and will drive from Portland for them alone. Fun atmosphere and clean. They have been remodeling during pandemic and we miss you.

This place is worth visiting. They serve large portions for affordable rates. Always well kept and with good character. I highly recommend this place.

Not sure how to give this place 0 stars. Unfortunately this was our first experience with American hospitality and what a disappointing experience. My partner and I had just arrived from NZ and decided to pop in for a drink or two. When we approached the bar, the seemingly intoxicated bartender completely ignored us while serving anyone that wasn’t us. Eventually she asked for our ID, which apparently a drivers license isn’t accepted at Shack, so we returned to our car to provide our passports for her. Walking back to the bar we waited even longer only for the bartender to serve herself and the other, I’m assuming, regulars. An awesome bar, with not so awesome staff.

Decent food. Great prices. Bartender was awesome. Definitely a place of regulars but that 's fine. I 'd eat there again.
