South Eastern Hotel - Mount Gambier

Family friendly pub, lot of space, tv, bar, salad for extra $5 with any main, there is an amazing indoor playground, the food we had wasn't good, my soup of the day wasn't edible and the roast of the day wasn't good either. It's a shame the food isn't great as the location and the pub in general is beautiful

A spacious dining facility with a very good local menu. The kitchen was very efficient with meals coming quite quickly.

I had the banger and mash but not before I was assured the mash is from potatoes proper, not from dehydrated dust. It was and the meal was great. Service is friendly and engaging. Food was such that I returned the next night and had creamy garlic prawns with rice. It was also very good.

The food was average quality pub food but came out quickly. One staff member became angry when asked if a meal could be replaced. A replacement or substitute was not provided. I would not eat here again. Fortunately when I had a drink in the front bar afterwards the staff in that area were very pleasant.

We were so impressed at the RNB board! Great value for money and an unforgettable meal. Thanks to the friendly staff for a great night. A meal to remember.
