Cafe Ellen - Mount Gambier

The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and provide service with a smile. They offer a wide range of coffees and snacks. The location is easily accessible and there is plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors for guests to sit and relax.

Shop was fairly busy when we ordered brunch to eat in but to our surprise the meals came out in a very timely fashion.The Toasted sandwiches, Chips and Bacon, Eggs and salad were cooked to perfection and the service was friendly and professional.

Called in and thought we would try Café Ellen for lunch today. We waited in a lengthening line while a pleasant girl was taking orders at the till and was under pressure while 2 other girls were chatting and giving no support nor did they seem to care, so we left. This was a really bad look for this Café, although being in the Mount regularly we had never tried Café Ellen and will not go back again. The owners need to get some adults on the job here. Very Poor

Go there regularly. Very good and friendly people and good service. Love this place. All good food prepared on premises. Recommend it.

The milkshakes were good, but the food was disappointing. The croissant was burnt, the quiche was clearly microwaved, and overall it just wasn't a pleasant dining experience. They did mention they were understaffed, but I don't think I'll be returning.
