Food is good, but very pricey, and you are charged $12+ extra for steaming each item.i.e lobsters, steamers... Not many options in the immediate area, so they can easily do this... good, but not that good. Unless you are an elitist, of course!

Fresh haddock fried perfectly, good fries, the slaw is even good!

Been through this place many times in my life as I hike in Lubec and nothing is every open. Every time I've been in here the staff tries to discourage you from ordering food. Typical downeast service, after being discouraged your are told anything you order is not available. I've ordered fish and chips many times, they've never had fish or French fries at this Fish Market. I hope the owners know the staff doesn't want to sell food. The grocery store is right down the street if you have no potatoes. One time I successfully ordered food there and it was a cheeseburger no fries because they were out, it took 1 hour lol.

Review is of the restaurant only. Lobster roll was meager portioned and more expensive than other places. Service was great. Meal was satisfactory.

This review isn't based on food.. we walked in 25 minutes before closing and was told that it will take 45 minutes to an hour for food. So, we walked out. The guy at the counter seemed overworked and miserable.. we understand, everywhere you go, restaurants are short staffed but this was not the kind of response we were expecting hence the 2 stars. So maybe call ahead and place your order. Check the menu.. seems quite extensive.
