Stockpot - Mount Beauty

Another good quality eatery in Mount Beauty. Our night it was very busy and unfortunately service was a little slow but it was worth the wait. Food was very good, certainly would recommend

After visiting the town of Mt Beauty regularly, Stockpot has to be the closest and best when it comes to fine dining in the valley! The pub is a fail, the rest are either takeaways or are closed down for the season..whatever the season is. Food great, and fresh, service a bit slack and was horrified to see a cook (male) cooking with no top on for some reason.Overall, as good as it gets in the valley and plenty of quality drinks to enjoy as well.

Not bad! The night we ate the restaurant seemed under control, however we did have to ask for drinks after being left to sit for some time. My girlfriend had a dish with Shitake mushrooms which had the texture of having been dehydrated then re-hydrated, leaving them very tough and rubbery. She voiced her opinion that it just didn't taste right! I had the double cheese burger. It was quite tasteless and like eating a great big compressed slab of pre-masticated meat. Burger meat should not be packed hard, else it loses that lovely juicy grainy texture you get from rissole/patties. The drinks were good.

Great food and friendly staff. 2 Steez burgers went down a treat. Booked in again for next week on the way back through.

We been coming to this restaurant for the last 4 years during winter and having the same meal everytime. And it never disappoint us thank you very much for the consistency of the food that you serve and fantastic service.
